TYPOLOGY: Restaurant & Bar
SCOPE: Full Renovation
SIZE: 2000 sq. ft.
CLIENT: Little Rascal
Little Rascal Brooklyn is an elegant cocktail bar and restaurant located on Franklin Street in Greenpoint. The elevated Little Rascal Brooklyn is an elegant cocktail bar and restaurant located on Franklin Street in Greenpoint. The elevated menu of Mediterranean delicacies and hand-crafted cocktails are served in a bright, cheerful environment that celebrates the history and people of the local community. An animated frieze of traditional hand-made Turkish shadow puppets march across the top of the backbar, but the panoply of personalities here are quintessentially contemporary Greenpoint characters. There is a punk, a couple of hipsters, artists, musicians and a host of colorful immigrant entrepreneurs who like the Gundogdu brothers, are keeping Greenpoint well fed and thriving.
This partnership between world-renowned mixologist Keith Larry formerly of Employees Only, and the team behind Nolita’s Turkish Restaurant, Little Rascal, bring their unique brand of hospitality, nourishment, experimentation and joy to Brooklyn, with a warm Mediterranean welcome, intimate charm, and sun-filled private garden, draped in grape vines and flowers. Like the neighborhood it celebrates, humor and harmony are key to the irresistible appeal and success of this community and this restaurant.
